Wet DBA explained
The Wet Deregulering Beoordeling Arbeidsrelaties (DBA) replaced the former VAR declaration. The enforcement moratorium was lifted on 1 January 2025. Maedium helps you with model agreements and correct qualification of the employment relationship.
Rights as a freelancer

Enforcement 2025-2026
Since 1 January 2025, the Tax Authority actively enforces compliance. A transitional period applies until 1 January 2026. The VBAR (Clarification of Assessment of Employment Relationships Act) is expected by July 2026. Maedium keeps you informed of all developments.
