These terms apply to all services and agreements of Maedium B.V.
Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements and services of Maedium B.V. (hereinafter: Maedium), based in Alkmaar, Chamber of Commerce number 96584068. By using our services or website, you agree to these terms. Deviations apply only when Maedium has confirmed them in writing.
Services
Maedium acts as intermediary between IT freelancers and clients. We make every effort to propose suitable professionals, but do not guarantee that a placement is realised. Our best-efforts obligation includes carefully screening and matching professionals based on the requirements provided by the client. Rates and conditions are recorded in writing for each assignment.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights to the website, texts, images, logos and other materials of Maedium rest exclusively with Maedium B.V. or its licensors. It is not permitted to copy, distribute or otherwise use Maedium's materials without prior written consent. Professional profiles and other confidential information provided by Maedium may only be used for the intended purpose.
Liability
Maedium accepts no liability for damage arising from the use of our services, unless there is intent or gross negligence. Maedium's liability is at all times limited to the amount paid out in the relevant case by Maedium's liability insurance. Maedium is not liable for the performance of proposed professionals after placement with the client.
Privacy
Maedium processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, please refer to our privacy policy, available on our website. Both parties undertake to keep confidential any information shared in the context of the collaboration.
Changes
Maedium reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Changes take effect 30 days after publication on the website or after written notification to the client. In the event of material changes, we inform our clients by email. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
Applicable Law
Dutch law applies to all agreements between Maedium and the client. Disputes arising from or related to the agreement are first submitted to the competent court in Maedium's place of establishment, namely the Noord-Holland District Court, Alkmaar location.
