These general terms and conditions apply to all services and agreements of Maedium B.V.
Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements, and services of Maedium B.V. (hereinafter: Maedium), registered in Alkmaar, Chamber of Commerce number 96584068. By using our services or website, you agree to these terms. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
Services
Maedium provides services in IT staffing, recruitment and selection, and freelancer placement. We endeavor to propose suitable candidates but do not guarantee that a placement will be realized. Our obligation of effort includes carefully screening and matching candidates based on the job requirements provided by the client. Rates and conditions are documented in writing for each assignment.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights to the website, texts, images, logos, and other materials of Maedium belong exclusively to Maedium B.V. or its licensors. It is not permitted to copy, distribute, or otherwise use Maedium's materials without prior written consent. Candidate profiles and other confidential information provided by Maedium may only be used for the intended purpose.
Liability
Maedium does not accept liability for damage resulting from the use of our services, unless there is intent or gross negligence. Maedium's liability is at all times limited to the amount paid out by Maedium's liability insurance in the case concerned. Maedium is not liable for the performance of candidates proposed by us after placement with the client.
Privacy
Maedium processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, we refer you to our privacy policy, which is available on our website. Both parties undertake to keep confidential information shared in the context of cooperation confidential.
Changes
Maedium reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions. Changes take effect 30 days after publication on the website or after written notification to the client. In the event of material changes, we will inform our clients by email. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
Applicable Law
All agreements between Maedium and the client are governed by Dutch law. Disputes arising from or in connection with the agreement shall first be submitted to the competent court in Maedium's place of establishment, namely the Court of North Holland, Alkmaar location.
