Security Engineer

For an organisation in the financial sector in the Utrecht region, we are looking for a Security Engineer. You strengthen the security team and help raise digital resilience to a higher level. A role with impact on people and systems.

What will you do?

• Detect and analyse threats via SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel)
• Perform vulnerability assessments and follow up on findings
• Set up and improve security monitoring and incident response
• Advise on hardening and access management (IAM)
• Contribute to NIS2 and ISO 27001 compliance

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Security Engineer
• Experience with SIEM, preferably Microsoft Sentinel
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 or CIS Controls
• Certification such as CISSP, SC-200 or Security+ is a plus
• Good communication skills in Dutch
